OPPO launched the Reno 14 5G series in China last month, introducing the Reno 14 5G and Reno 14 Pro 5G. A few days ago, we reported on the global launch of this series. Now, we have the official Oppo Reno 14 5G launch in Japan, but the Pro version is yet to launch. The company has officially announced that the series will launch in Malaysia on July 1, with a wider global rollout likely to happen around that date as well.
Oppo Reno 14 5G specifications and features
The Reno 4 5G features a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen that delivers a 1.5K resolution (2760 x 1256 pixels), supports a 120Hz refresh rate, and reaches up to 1200 nits of peak brightness. Gorilla Glass 7i protects the display, providing enhanced durability. The phone has dimensions of 158 x 75 x 7.4mm, weighs 187 grams, and carries an IP68/IP69 rating for resistance against water and dust.
The Oppo Reno 14 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset and paired up with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The Reno 14 5G runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box. It also features a 4,700mm² vapor chamber cooling system designed to efficiently manage heat and maintain optimal performance.

On the rear camera, this device features a triple camera setup- a 50MP Sony LYT 600 main sensor with OIS support + an 8MP Ultrawide lens + a 50MP telephoto sensor with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS. On the front, there is a 50MP autofocus front camera capable of shooting up to 4K 60fps videos.
It features a 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging, but there is no wireless charging support on this device. On the other features, there are also dual speakers, dual SIM, eSIM, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Oppo will begin selling the Reno 14 5G in Japan on July 17, although it hasn’t revealed the pricing yet. It will be available in two color variants: Luminous Green and Opal White.
