Honor, the Chinese tech giant, launched the Honor 300 series only in China last year. Now, the company is launching the Honor 400 series globally. The journey started with the Honor 400 Lite launch in Austria last month. Now, it’s time for the Honor 400, which is going to be officially launched in Malaysia soon and will start its global journey. Let’s learn more about that.

Honor 400 launch teased on Facebook

Honor Malaysia posted a teaser poster on its official Facebook page. In the image, they said about to introduce “Next-Gen AI Imaging” with a teasing glance at a three-camera setup.

From the recent rumors and leaks, we’ve got some key specs of the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro. Now, by correlating with the teaser, it is going to be the Honor 400 Vanilla one, in our opinion.

That’s only a rumor for now — the official announcement is expected sometime later this month. We’ll need to watch Honor’s updates closely to find out the exact date. It’s also uncertain whether both the Honor 400 and 400 Pro will launch in Malaysia or just one of them.

Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro Specifications ( What We Got So Far)

Rumor claimed that the Honor 400 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 with 12GB of RAM. It will feature a 6.55-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution. This device will have a 5,300mAh battery. The Pro model is said to come with more premium features- Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a larger 6.7” display, and a 50MP telephoto camera. The Honor 400 and 400 Pro will have 200MP cameras.

Honor 400 Series Expected Price in Malaysia

The Honor 400 Lite launched first in Austria, where the 8GB + 256GB model was priced at €300, with an early bird discount bringing it down to €270. Meanwhile, in Malaysia, a comparable 12GB + 256GB variant sells for MYR 1,300, or just MYR 1,100 during the early bird period. When converted, MYR 1,300 equals approximately €270, which means the Malaysian price is about 10% lower than the European one. Recently, a leak suggested that the Honor 400 will carry a €500 price tag for the 8/256GB model. If we apply the same 10% reduction and convert the amount to Malaysian Ringgit, the expected price lands around MYR 2,150.
