Vivo launched its mid-ranger, Vivo Y19 5G, today in India. It is available at Flipkart, Vivo’s online store and retail stores. Some of you are confused and mixing it up with the Vivo Y19 (2019) version or assuming an upgraded 5G version of it. But it’s offering completely different specifications. Display & Design
The Vivo Y19 5G features a 6.74-inch 720×1600 LCD screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate. It measures 167.3 x 76.95 x 8.19mm and weighs 199g. This device is IP64 certified for dust and splash resistance, and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. You will get it in Majestic Green and Titanium Silver colors.
Performance & OS
The Vivo Y19 5G is powered by Dimensity 6300 SoC and paired up with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. It’s expandable via a triple slot taking two nano SIMs and one microSD card. It will run on Android 15 with vivo’s Funtouch OS 15 on top.
Camera & Battery
On the front camera, it has a 5 MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. On the rear panel, there is a dual camera setup- a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture + a 0.08 MP decorative sensor. The Vivo Y19 5G has a 5,500 mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging. Vivo claims that the battery will maintain more than 80% of its original capacity even after 1,600 complete charging and discharging cycles.
